How We Work
We recognize the diversity of organisations and partners we engage with, and we operate a sliding scale to ensure fair and accessible opportunities for all. By supporting the documentary community, you are helping to safeguard a rich and vital legacy that has the power to share the world for the better.
Major Sponsors
£50,000 - £65,000

Partners
£25,000 - £35,000
Designed for medium-sized public service broadcasters, commercial PSBs, and mid-sized production companies. This option offers substantial recognition and helps partners showcase their commitment to UK documentary culture.
Organisation Members
£1,000 - £10,000
This tier provides a flexible entry point for companies and organisations of all sizes, ensuring that every partner can meaningfully contribute to the DFC’s mission.
Angels
£5,000+
For individuals who want to make a significant contribution to UK documentary and join a community of changemakers supporting a brighter future for our industry.
Your Support Matters
We aim to raise £350,000 to secure the future of the Documentary Film Council over the next three years.
This funding will allow us to expand our support for filmmakers, strengthen our advocacy efforts, develop talent, and build a resilient, inclusive, and innovative non-fiction film sector.
