Alysia Judge

(she/her)
Director, Editor

Alysia is a London-based editor and director. The projects she’s edited have screened at international festivals like Jackson Wild, and won at the Berlin Female Filmmakers festival and Santiago Wild. She’s directed short films for Netflix, Sky, and Disney, and is a member of BAFTA Connect.

Alysia is drawn to contradiction and stories of quiet resistance. She specialises in films that start inside a niche, and use that world to reveal a universal experience. Her style is warm and gently subversive: “Here is the myth, and here is the person,” or, “here is your preconception, and here is a new perspective.”

As an editor, Alysia helps directors protect the heart of their ideas, always chasing the emotional core of a story and turning footage into feeling. She’s currently directing her first feature documentary, with principle photography in the US set to end in 2027.
