Constantine Gras
I’m a seasoned multimedia artist and documentary filmmaker based in London and West Sussex.
Born of Greek and Polish parentage, I hold a BA in Film and Literature from the University of Warwick.
My creative practice is rooted in community collaboration and improvisation and I’ve built a significant body of film work chronicling life and displacement within West London housing estates.
In 2021, I served as an associate producer and photographer for the BAFTA and Grierson award-winning documentary Grenfell – The Untold Story (BBC/Channel 4).
I have photographed, edited and directed several short films including the Channel 4 Random Acts commissioned A Spell For Wornington Green (2021) and The Strawberries are for the future (2026).
My art and film projects have been funded by Arts Council England, Serpentine Gallery and the Mayor of London. I was the first Community Artist in Residence at the V&A Museum.
