FIONA LLOYD-DAVIES

Award-winning filmmaker and photojournalist Fiona Lloyd-Davies has documented human rights issues in conflict zones since 1992, earning a reputation for integrity, innovation and fearless storytelling. Beginning her career in film and visual arts after graduating from the Royal College of Art, she moved into documentary journalism during the Bosnian War, working on the BAFTA-winning documentary The Unforgiving.

Fiona is internationally recognised for exposing sexual violence as a weapon of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her investigations led to acclaimed films including Ordered to Rape, nominated for Best Independent at the RTS Journalism Awards. She has produced work for the BBC and numerous NGOs, receiving two Royal Television Society Awards for documentaries on honour killings in Pakistan and life in Iraq with blogger Salam Pax.

A Cambridge University graduate in International Relations, Fiona continues to film, edit and produce independently through Studio 9 Films Ltd.
