Honey Crespo
I am an experienced filmmaker, producer, lecturer and external examiner with a focus in documentary and community engagement in the arts. I am currently employed as a Film Practice Lecturer and I freelance as director/producer. I’m producing a funded documentary film, judging a Film Festival and working with the BFI and IntoFilm’s network for Ethnic Diversity in Film Education.
As a filmmaker my films have been screened nationally and internationally and have won various nominations and awards including an RTS. I also create, develop and deliver films and art projects for charities and CIC’s and work closely with grassroots community cinemas and festivals. My most recent work has been funded or commissioned by BFI, Being Human Festival, Society for the Study of Addiction,Walking With the Wounded and Everton in the Community amongst others.
