Huiju Park is a BAFTA-nominated filmmaker based in London, originally from South Korea, whose work explores the intersection of personal experience and broader social issues. Her films are inspired by her intimate relationship with the world around her and strongly emphasise feminism. Her recent film Welcome Home Freckles (2025) has garnered international attention and has been screened and awarded at multiple international film festivals, including at the BAFTA Film Awards, Grierson British Documentary Awards, Visions du Réel, SXSW Film Festival, AFI Fest, and Camerimage Film Festival.
