Pamela Gordon

(she/her)
Director, Executive Producer, Journalist

I began answering phones in an office in Stockwell. After taking a lot of messages I became a researcher on the groundbreaking series A Secret World of Sex. It gave me the chance to learn on the job. I worked as an AP then Director in social history for 8 years. I’ve since made films like Staying Lost, October Films and  Wasted which people still ask me to send to them. I’ve filmed across the world, sometimes with reluctant comedians in tow…But always with fantastic creative teams.

I’ve made political series and a landmark NHU feature about lions, as well as a film about Linford Christie and the Titan  disaster.

Last year I wrote about the life and death of a  contributor I met 25 years ago. The article made a huge impact and has made me think hard about the world of TV as it is today.
