Rose Palmer

Producer

Rose Palmer is an award-winning producer, drawing on her psychology PhD and background in journalism to tells human stories with empathy and creativity. Her first feature ‘1001 Days‘ which premiered at IDFA and Sheffield Doc Fest, with a special mention in the Youth Jury Award. As producer in the Bafta-winning films team of the Economist newspaper, she covered topics ranging from The Erosion of Press Freedom Globally to How Putin is Silencing his Opponents.

Owned and run by and for its members, the DFC is the first national organisation for the UK’s documentary film industry.
