Founded in 2016, barry crerar is a BAFTA nominated independent production company, with a first look deal with BBC Film. We make stories that inspire, provoke and entertain for both film & TV.
barry crerar is embedded in the New Scottish Wave, a new generation of filmmakers from Scotland that eschew social realist traditions. We are influenced as much by international cinema as by the poets, artists and musicians of our home country, and are committed to showcasing Scottish culture as the rich tapestry that it is. We specialise in telling intimate and intense stories with complex relationships at their heart.
