Sarita West started Alchemy Films, a registered limited company in San Francisco, California, in 1994 and wrote, directed and produced short films, the broadcast documentary ‘The Disenchanted Forest'(2002) for National Geographic channels, and co-produced PBS doc, ‘The Split Horn’ (2001). After relocating to the UK, Sarita produced, directed and edited the documentaries, ‘Fire Burn Babylon'(2010), ‘Exiles and Outlaws'(2014), ‘In The Shadow of Ebola’, (2015) for PBS, and ‘The Land Beneath Our Feet’ (2017) for the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Currently, Sarita is producing ‘The Waste Commons’ for New York University.
