Usayd is an award-winning director and producer based in London. He has made feature length documentary, documentary shorts and scripted films.
Generation Revolution was his first BFI supported, award-winning feature documentary that premiered at Sheffield DocFest 2016, toured worldwide and streamed on Netflix.
Usayd is most passionate about telling stories that centre people of colour and minoritised communities. In 2016 he established the production company black & brown.
