Wayne joined MetFilm in late 2022 to help build and manage its new distribution arm. Previously, he managed UK distribution at Dartmouth Films, releasing 35 independent documentary titles over a five-year period.
In 2019, Wayne won Rising Star at the Screen Awards. Before embarking on a career in film distribution, Wayne earned his MA from King’s College London for his study on emerging distribution practices in the British film industry. He is a full voting member of the film chapter of BAFTA.
Key documentary campaigns he has supported include ERIC RAVILIOUS: DRAWN TO WAR, THE PONDS, FIVE SEASONS, FASHION REIMAGINED, and WHILE WE WATCHED.
