Will Hewitt is an Editor & Director who specialises in creative documentary. He cut and co-directed the Royal Television Society winning feature ‘Long Live my Happy Head’ and the BAFTA Scotland winning short film ‘Harmonic Spectrum’. Recent feature editor credits include the Sundance selected ‘Birds of War’ and the upcoming documentary ‘Thorntree’. He is a recipient of the Grierson/Netflix DocLab scheme, where he worked on the Netflix feature-length ‘The Final: Attack on Wembley’, as well as a Broadcast Magazine Hotshot and SONY Future Filmmaker finalist. Possibly best known for Co-Directing and editing the Scottish cult classic ‘Sink or Skim’, a film about the World Stone Skimming Championships, and he is a World Skimming Championship finalist himself. Additionally, he is a passionate teacher of documentary storytelling at the National Film & Television School & Edinburgh University.
