The UK’s Culture, Media and Sport Committee (DCMS) recently announced an inquiry into the challenges faced by the nation’s film and high-end TV industries. This is a vital opportunity to ensure the voice of the independent documentary community is heard, so it’s essential that we submit evidence.

Although the DFC is barely two months old, we already have a strong supporter and membership base with which to develop a collective response. We’ve therefore drafted a survey to help us collate our views. It’s based on the six key questions around which the Inquiry is based (some of which have sub-questions). If you are able to spare 10 minutes of your time, please contribute and share your experience.
This survey will close at 23:59 BST on August 25th. The DFC’s Leadership Team will then write-up all the responses into a single submission on behalf of the Council. You can find out more information about the DCMS inquiry here. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
