Adrian Leung is an Australian/Hong Kong composer and multi-instrumentalist. Based in the UK, he has written music for award-winning films that have been selected into festivals such as BFI Flare, Raindance, Sydney Film Festival and London Short Film Festival.
Some recent work include Hong Kong: City on Fire, which won the F:ACT Award at CPH:Dox, No More Wings which won Best Narrative Short at Tribeca and Where The Sun Always Shines, which premiered at this year’s SXSW.
His solo project, Drexler, lives in the modern classical/ambient space, combining an orchestral palette with contemporary soundscapes, electronics and field recordings. His releases have had airplay on NTS, BBC Sounds, KEXP, Triple J and Soho Radio.
As a person of colour, Adrian is particularly interested in diverse stories that explore culture, identity and underrepresented voices.
