Graduated in 2012 with a degree in Film Studies from the University La Sapienza of Rome. For his thesis, he wrote about the “Places and not places of contemporary noir cinema.”

In 2015, Ali worked as a 3rd assistant director in the film “The Truth Lies in the Sky” by Roberto Faenza. Ali later attended a producing course at NYFA in Los Angeles in 2017. He wrote and directed his own stories and short films, including “Stray Boys” (2011) and “A City” (2014). with themes of identity, crossing borders.

In 2021, Ali moved to London to complete an MA screenwriting Birkbeck University of London, While he co-founded Bm Entertainment with his three siblings, who share the same passion and profession. As a director, Ali has worked on various projects, including “The Art of Writing Your Name,” 2023 a 52-minute documentary on street art.
