A full-time professional filmmaker, camera person, editor since 2003 when, aged 23, I established Sort Of…Films Ltd and through which I have produced, directed, shot and edited aroound 2000 short films for clients and contributed as a consultant or crew member to many more.

Currently (2024) shooting on Canon C500mkii, C300mkiii and C70 and R5. Also an A2CofC drone pilot/owner and stills photographer. I post mostly in Adobe and run several suites from our offices in Sheffield. Other kit includes gimbals, sliders, a 12ft jib, autocue/eye direct, lights, audio etc.

In 2022, I established a collaboration with smoketrail.tv who make some of the BBCs biggest environment podcasts. Our first two collaborative efforts have been short doc films The Catastrophe Garden (funded by Quorn) and Beautiful Poison (funded by SAP via HotDocs) and we’re now in development on our debut feature.
