With years of experience in narrative, commercial and documentary production Flore joined the core team at Scottish Documentary Institute (SDI) in 2010 to manage the Institute’s various training initiatives and industry events, including the Edinburgh Pitch and Bridging the Gap.
In parallel, she has produced short and mid-length documentaries for broadcast (BBC, STV) and international festival distribution, and has exec’d over 15 shorts made as part of the British Council backed training programme Stories in Libya, Morocco and Palestine.
She also co-produced the award-winning feature Freedom Fields, directed by Naziha Arebi which premiered at TIFF in 2018.
With a passion for talent development and nurturing filmmakers working in the field of independent creative documentary, Flore was appointed Managing Director of SDI in September 2022.
Flore is currently on the advisory board of the European Producers training organisation EURODOC and on the interim board of the newly created Documentary Film Council.
