A multiple BIFA award-winning producer. His first feature documentary, the BFI supported IF THE STREETS WERE ON FIRE, had its World Premiere at the 66th BFI London Film Festival, was theatrically release, acquired by BBC Storyville, and screened at Parliament. The film was longlisted for a BAFTA and won two BIFAs, including “Best Feature Documentary”, with Gannesh being nominated for “Breakthrough Producer”. His latest short, PUFFLING, screened in-competition at SXSW, qualified for the Academy Awards after winning the Jury Award for Documentary at Aspen, and was acquired by The New Yorker. Gannesh is a Doc Society Fellow, a Sheffield DocFest Future Producer and BFI Insight Producer alumni, part of BAFTA Connect and Film London’s Breaking The Glass Ceiling cohorts, and was named a Film London Lodestar.
