I am a filmmaker, lecturer, and broadcaster specialising in film heritage and production histories. In 2024 my debut feature documentary, “HER NAME WAS MOVIOLA”, made in partnership with Walter Murch, premiered at Sheffield DocFest.
Most of my work has been about the industrial history and producti0n methodologies at the studios of Borehamwood and Elstree, which forms part of an archive called THE ELSTREE PROJECT. I also work closely with the STANLEY KUBRICK estate, on numerous projects.
I lead the Post-Graduate Film Production degrees at the University of Hertfordshire, and I am Head of Post-Production for the undergraduate course, where I have been working since 2005.
