Wahl’s work has screened internationally at film festivals such as CPH:DOX, Festival du nouveau cinéma, and Open City Docs, as well as in institutions like Centre Pompidou Metz, Royal Museums Greenwich, the Whitworth, NYU, Union Docs, and even onboard an engineless Thames sailing barge touring England’s South East coast. He has received several international awards and been featured in The Guardian, Sight and Sound, and The Wire. His projects have been funded by Arts Council England, The Henry Moore Foundation, and the Royal Photographic Society. His writing has appeared in magazines, journals, and books. Wahl has curated film programmes, served on festival juries, taught in both university and community settings, and worked as an AHRC-funded research associate at the University of Manchester. His film Wind, Tide & Oar is distributed in UK cinemas by Tull Stories. He is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at UoM.
