Kiran Acharya is a filmmaker from Northern Ireland.
He has worked on several acclaimed documentaries in the UK, including Dispossession which was screened in the Houses of Parliament.
His feature documentary Survival Of The Fastest, produced alongside Sara Gunn-Smith and cult thrash metal band Gama Bomb, premiered at Docs Ireland and is screening internationally.
As an editor and producer he works closely with independent directors and clients such as Adobe, Google, Oxford, Cambridge and MIT.
He is also known for sound design and collaborations with composers, combining film and photography with augmented reality.
Following the collaboration Eternity Interrupted, with composer Clint Mansell, he was awarded a Puttnam Scholarship for emerging creative talent.
