Natasha Austin-Green

Natasha Austin-Green is a London-based director and writer known for her distinctive hybrid films that tackle taboo subjects. Her internationally acclaimed short, Dead. Tissue. Love, screened at prestigious festivals like SXSW, Ann Arbor, and AFI Docs, earning multiple awards and praise, with The Telegraph calling it “Subtly Suggestive… Gently Disturbing.” The film toured the UK as part of The Final Girls programme and premiered online with Short of The Week.
Natasha was a finalist for the 2020 Arts Foundation Future Award in Experimental Short Film and presented her work at the London Short Film Festival. In 2023, Dead. Tissue. Love was highlighted in The Guardian by director Prano Bailey-Bond as a favorite short. Natasha continues to push creative boundaries with her latest short, MŌDOR, currently making its way through the festival circuit. Her awards include the BFI Future Film Festival Best Experimental Short Award (2018) and multiple documentary film accolades.
