Noémi Varga is a London-based filmmaker. She earned her degree in Moving Image from the prestigious Royal College of Art, where she honed her skills and developed her unique storytelling style. Noémi’s graduation film, The Happiest Barrack, premiered in Rotterdam and won three awards at BAFTA qualifying festivals in the UK. Her second short film, which was commissioned by Film London, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2019 and was acquired by The Atlantic. She is currently in post-production on her latest film, ‘Folk’, which is supported by DocSociety.
Noémi has worked with a range of broadcasters, online platforms, and production companies as an editor, including clients such as The Guardian, Al Jazeera and the V&A.
Noémi aspires to create films that are both powerful and thought-provoking, with the goal of sparking important conversations and promoting positive change both on and off screen.
