Ryushi Lindsay is a British-Japanese filmmaker based between the UK and Japan, working across fiction and non-fiction.
His work as screened at the likes of Short Shorts and Aesthetica film festivals, as well as on MUBI.
His work has been funded by BFI Network and Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs, and he is an alum of the Zurich Film Festival Academy, the B3 Biennale Hessenlab, and the Pustnik Screenwriting Residency.
As a fixer / English-Japanese bilingual producer, he has worked across breaking news, TV documentaries and podcasts for the likes of CTV News, CBC, NBCU and RTS, shooting with top sushi chefs, biker gangs, homicide detectives and a man who married a doll.
