I am a National Award winning documentary filmmaker and researcher from India and Lecturer in Screen Practices and Industries at the Department of Film, Theatre & Television, University of Reading. I have explored a range of subjects through four feature documentaries and primarily direct, write and edit. I also specialise in participatory filmmaking and film practice-based research and advocacy.

My debut film Accsex (on disability and sexuality) was awarded Special Mention at the 61st National Film Awards and has been used extensively for research, training and advocacy. My films have been screened at international film festivals and public screenings across the world and won multiple awards.

My PhD film ‘We Make Film’ explored disability and access to filmmaking contemporary urban India and made original contributions to the field of disability studies, film practice and pedagogy. The project has received multiple recognitions for filmmaking and impact.
