Vedika Tuwani

(Self-describe)
Director

Hi, I’m Vedika. I’m a journalist, non-fiction filmmaker, and visual anthropologist, recently moved to London and eager to collaborate on meaningful projects. I recently made a film on South Asian black taxi drivers in Manchester, exploring how their identities and sense of belonging are shaped through the city. I’ve previously worked with artisans in India and published stories on women in Afghanistan and their access to reproductive rights. My interests span women’s issues, migration, identity, and the South Asian diaspora — but I’m always open to discovering new stories. With a background in anthropology, I approach participants with empathy and sensitivity. I’m currently open to working as an Assistant Director or Assistant Producer. I can edit, write, operate a camera, and most importantly, bring creative visions to life. Let’s create stories that move people and make a difference.
